The Beauty of Needs (Baltimore)

When:
Sun, 11/19/2017 - 1:00pm - 4:15pm

Baltimore, near the intersection of Cold Spring and Charles, email for directions QiofNVC [at] gmail [dot] com

We will work in pairs exploring the felt bodily sense and energetics behind our needs and values, rather than what we think about them. This can be experienced as an entry point into an inner world, the divine, and a deeper awareness of what is. This naturally connects, extends, and expands from our hearts.

This is a practice that I first experienced in my work with Robert Gonzales. He developed it from years of Enlightenment Intensives, from 1968, eventually combining the inquiries to ones based on NVC.

“To live in the full and present dimension of the Beauty inherent in our needs is to live in the timeless present. This involves slowing the living process down, which means shifting from the unaware, habitual way of ordinary conversation to the intentional awareness of being with the other human being and revealing the open, vulnerable reality of your being.” Robert Gonzales, from Reflections on Living Compassion

Led by Barbra Esher, certified trainer with the International Center for Nonviolent Communication.
